European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) successfully steered the first beam in the 27-kilometre long Large Hadron Collider. The experiment is said to be a revolution in particle physics and will generate profound developments in understanding the origins and evolution of the universe. Iranian scientists collaborating with CERN were among the scientists from around the world who were involved in this experiment.
The website of the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration (CISSC) has been uploaded after a basic reconstruction. The new website is available to universities, research centers and researchers in Iran and around the world in Farsi and English. Research programs, international collaborations, supports, studies and other CISSC involvements are among the topics accessible on the new website at www.cissc.ir.
